Who should attend the course ?

The Government’s latest legislation requires new qualified persons working in nurseries and Early Key Stage Learning tutors to have this qualification. The course also proves very popular to anyone who is around children both professionally and in their every day life.

People working with children will learn vital life-saving skills on our paediatric first aid course. For your convenience, all of our trainers can deliver courses on your premises, to train childminders, pre-school staff and nursery staff (we can also arrange a local venue if yours is unavailable). All of our training meets the guidelines laid down by the EYFS and Ofsted.

Paediatric-and-Family-First-AidThe course is designed for anyone whose local authority requires them to be trained in childcare first aid: child-minders, nursery workers, nannies, or anyone who looks after children and babies. You will be able to increase your knowledge and skills in first aid, enabling you to deal with an ill or injured child or baby.

Our Parent and Child first aid training course is designed for anyone who does not require the 12hr Paediatric course, but wishes to have a basic knowledge of First Aid for childcare.

We can hold training at your premises or at a convenient local venue or home.

The training is perfect for all people looking after children and babies – whether professionally or as support for a family member – and will increase your knowledge and skills in first aid enabling you to deal with an ill or injured child or baby

Our Emergency First Aid at Work course has been tailored to include additional subjects specifically designed to meet the needs of schools. The course is designed to provide first aid training to teachers, TAs and other employees, enabling you to give emergency first aid to a child or colleague following injury or illness.

This is designed for people who have been nominated as an Emergency First Aid at Work person. It is also suitable for anyone wishing to gain knowledge and a recognised qualification in emergency first aid. For schools it is a vital part of health and safety.

The HSE strongly recommend that an Annual Refresher course should be attended on years one and two after the course, and in the third year the course should be re-taken to obtain another full certificate.
